Do I need to be Haitian to join?
No. CHACC was founded by Haitian Americans, and membership is open to every entrepreneur, nonprofit leader, professional and ally who shares the mission.
Can nonprofits join?
Yes. The Business tier is built for small businesses and nonprofits alike.
How do I join?
Pick a tier in the membership form on this page and pay online. Prefer to talk first? Send us a note through the contact page and a board member will follow up with you personally.
How is payment handled?
Payments are processed by Zeffy, a free payment platform for nonprofits. At checkout Zeffy may suggest an optional tip to support its platform. It’s voluntary, you can set it to zero, and it doesn’t go to CHACC.
Are dues tax-deductible?
Membership dues are not deductible as charitable contributions. CHACC is organized as a 501(c)(6) business league and our application for federal recognition is in progress. Many businesses treat chamber dues as an ordinary business expense, so check with your tax advisor.
